Camden Chancellor is a renaissance civil litigator with a diverse career working in Texas, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio, Louisiana, and South Africa. Camden moved his practice to The Woodlands, Texas in 2020, and Camden now freelances as an attorney in the State of Texas and as an inside advisor and project manager across the country and abroad.
Camden was licensed in 2012 and Camden B. Chancellor, PLLC has been in operation since 2014. Camden is accepting meetings with major clientele or full-time employers.
Camden's litigation experience includes trial and appellate representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in proprietary information, intentional torts, complex corporate litigation, personal injuries, real property, premise disputes, construction defects, and breach of contract.
Camden also assists clients, domestic and international, in formations and acquisitions, governance, governmental relations, compliance, and project development.
Camden began his career in the Texas oil-boom with Shafer, Davis, O'Leary & Stoker. Camden accepted his first case as lead counsel in 2013. In West Texas, Camden litigated in insurance defense and commercial disputes, including mass casualties up to one billion-dollars. In 2014, Camden opened his independent practice which focused primarily on commercial litigation; energy and real property; and personal injury. Camden's practice included being lead counsel in multiple class actions, and working as assisting counsel in federal and state multi-district class actions for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Camden's practice also included governmental lawsuits, federal audits, and corporate governance.
In 2016, Camden joined Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith as their youngest special counsel in firm history as lead on-site attorney for Dallas, Texas. In 2017, Camden accepted a position as outside counsel for a real property developer for residential construction and homeowners associations, and for various real property disputes across Texas. Camden's independent practice moved to Austin, TX until 2020 when he moved to The Woodlands, Texas to contribute to the Ward Law Firm of David A. Ward, Jr.
Camden now continues representing clients as Camden B. Chancellor, PLLC. Camden prides himself on his devotion to his clients, his personal discipline, and his extensive understanding of complex litigation.
